Warlock Techniques

The Warlock technique is called Pact.

Pact 1 - Malefic Aura
Cost: 1 Mana
Range: 1000 feet per Soul
Duration: 1 Scene
Wits + Empathy + Pact vs Resolve + Composure
A corrupt miasma cloaks the area, dulling the senses, and setting people on edge. All beings within range who fail the contested roll suffer a -2 to all actions and cannot spend willpower (except to power abilities requiring it).
At pact 3, the Malefic Aura can be targeted, hitting certain people while ignoring others.

Pact 2 -Warlock's Curse
Cost: 2 Mana
Range: 100 feet
Duration: Soul + 1 rolls
Resolve + Arcana + Pact vs. Resolve
The target is cursed by the Warlock, and suffers misfortune. The target loses a number of dice equal to the number of successes rolled for the next Soul + 1 rolls. In addition, the target cannot 10-again for the duration. At pact 4 the curse causes 1's to subtract successes as well.

Pact 3 - Crown of Madness
Cost: 3 Mana
Range: 75 feet
Wits + Subterfuge + Pact vs Resolve + Soul
The target feels pull of insanity. He/she is dominated by the caster for a round per success, concentration to sustain. The target cannot do harm to themselves. The target may fight the control, but fighting it may do damage to their mind. If they successfully break free early using a Resolve + Soul roll to beat the original caster's successes, they will take bashing equal to the amount of original successes.

Pact 4 - Soul Flaying
Cost: 4 Mana
Range 20 feet
Wits + Arcana + Pact - Resolve
Target takes 1 lethal damage per success and loses one willpower (up to max buffs/debuffs) per success as they experience visions of loss and fear. They also gain a mild derangement for 1 week per success. An exceptional success with this power gives the target a severe derangement for the duration. At pact 5 this can do aggravated damage for 5 mana.

Pact 5 - Banish to Hell
Cost: 5 Mana
Range: 100 feet
Wits + Arcana + Pact - Resolve
1 round per success (target experiences 1 year per success)
Target is banished to Hell/Faerie/Outside for the duration, and subjected to hideous torment, taking 1 Aggravated damage per success and losing a dot of willpower. Upon returning they must make a Willpower roll and get a number of successes equal or grater to the caster's roll or gain a severe derangement for 1 week per success. This power can give a permanent derangement, at the cost of 5 mana and 1 willpower.
